Obama is a big ?

The New York Times has definitely abandoned it's journalistic integrity and gone completely in the tank for Barack Obama ... But, they aren't the only ones !!! CNN, Jack Cafferty, MSNBC, the Los Angeles Times,
John Stewart, Colbert, the View, most of Hollywood, the anchors who went overseas with Obama ... Just to mention a few!!! And, what's even worse is that they no longer publish, or report opposing views. And, they have denied those they accuse from having a platform from which to respond. To half of America, it's inconceivable that the media would not only do this ... But, that they'd back an empty suit, with over 20 years of anti-American, racist associations, while trashing an American hero with 42 years of service to our country.

When I was a kid, I admired the press, which always fought for truth. Now, it's like living in a totalitarian state, where one side controls biased information to the people. To Hollywood and the media ... Joseph Goebbels would be proud !!!

"The public cannot be too curious concerning the characters of public men." —Samuel Adams

Well stated.

The founders did not envision the newspapers becoming an arm of a political position or party. They, of course, could not predict the huge changes in the "news media" that created the power and hunger for control in the past two centuries. When each town had an independent news paper, written by locals and printed with hand inked plates on a hand operated press, there was an element of self policing by the other editors. Now papers, magazines, and networks are linked together in huge corporations that would rather create news than report it. I hunger for the old time 4 to 8 page paper that had room for mention of the fire in Olsen's barn the same week their twins were born, and had time to tear up the politician's voting record. As a friend has often said, "Perhaps, it is time for the stout rope, pitchforks and torches." It brings to mind the seven members of my mother's family that went to Concord Bridge on April 19, 1775. They did not go because their welfare checks were late.
